Vizag Tech Fest 2017 | Highlights | Andhra University | Visakhapatnam<br /><br />#VizagTechFest2017 , #VizagFest2017 , #VizagTechFest2018 , #VizagFest2018 , #Visakhapatnam<br /><br />Offering both entertainment and knowledge, the new edition of Vizag Fest 2017 kicked off on a grand note at Andhra University Engineering College Grounds here on Friday. <br /><br />Andhra University Vice-Chancellor G Nageswara Rao inaugurated a 10-day fest which is being organised in association with the Department of Culture of Andhra Pradesh.<br /><br />The festival, which was thrown open to all at free of charge, comprises book exhibition, literary talks, short film shows and science expo with an intention to provide a relief to citizens who got busy with their daily engagements .<br /><br />Andhra University Registrar V Uma Maheswara Rao opened the science expo put by the students has nearly 100 projects for display. A total of 200 cultural programmes would be organised as part of the fest. As many as 100 stalls were set up displaying a huge number of books on a wide range of topics. <br /><br />Literary talks, release of books would be organised at Gurajada Sahitya Vedika. Cartoon and photo exhibitions and food stalls would also be part of the fest.<br /><br />On Friday, writer Suddala Ashok Teja attended the inaugural programme of the event. Chandra Bose, Goreti Venkanna, C Uma Maheswara Rao, RP Patnaik and others would take part in the fest.<br /><br />Festival chairman and former Vice-Chancellor of Andhra University KV Ramana, CITU state president Ch Narasinga Rao, Fest fest secretary A Aja Sarma, fest members N Ramanachalam, A.
